This is just a small cut down of a half an hour long masterclass I shot and edited with wildlife photographer Simon Whalley. Footage ingest was a big part of the job here, given that we were shooting in the forest for several hours and only had contact with the squirrel for about five minutes. Making a good mix of additional footage from the forest fit in with Simon's class content recorded back at his gallery was key, to keep the audience attentive. Audience awareness also super important - this is likely to be watched by amateur wildlife photographers, sow they want to see Simon doing his thing far more than they want to see him sat at his gallery! Shoot, edit, grade, sound design, all done by me.
